Bead Fern (Onoclea sensiblis)
Found in swamps, marshes, and moist meadows, this fern tolerates full sun. Spores are bead like on a separate stalk. Found from Newfoundland and lower Canada throughout one third of the Eastern U.S. to central Florida.
This silk screened and hand painted print comes in an 11 x 14 inch double mat, with a white top mat and a gold under mat edging the print. Specify your choice of white or cream paper. In keeping with tradition, the Latin and common names provide identification, and an oriental "seal" created by the artist is used for identification and to balance the work. Printed on Arches and Rives 100% rag printmaking paper.
