Breadfruit (Artocarpis communis) This tree grows to 40ft or higher and has large tropical leaves which grow to about 3ft long with deeply cut, rounded lobes. The fruit, which hangs on the branches, is large, round, green, and rough skinned...growing to 8 inches in diameter and has a starchy, potato-like flavor.
