Cinnamon Fern (Osmunda cinnamomea) Growing in clusters, this tall fern usually is found in swamps, wet woods and bogs, or on springy slopes and stream banks. Separate fertile fronds appear in the spring and turn a cinnamon color before collapsing in early summer. Range: Eastern U.S. and Canada. Grows 20-60 inches tall.
