Seafan (Gorgonia ventalina) A soft coral which grows in colonies in reef zones and adds to the beautiful diversity of the reef habitat. Grows 3-5 inches wide in a variety of colors-- most often shades of purple or green. This asset to the reef system produces sand, provides hiding and resting places for fish, and provides food and substratum for other organisms. Shown here in purple, but also available in green.
