Scented Pond Lily (Nymphaea odorata) This water lily is found in ponds, slow rivers and lakes, and grows from thick branching root stocks. Leaves are rounded and notched... green on the upper surface and reddish purple beneath. Flowers are white or pink and have a sweet fragrance. This silk screened and hand painted print comes in an 11 x 14 inch double mat, with a white top mat and a gold under mat edging the print. Specify your choice of white or cream paper. In keeping with tradition, the Latin and common names provide identification, and an oriental "seal" created by the artist is used for identification and to balance the work.
