Our handmade mixed-media prints celebrate nature's magic, illuminating the world around us, while exhibiting a fresh and vibrant approach to the revered art form exemplified by classic botanical lithographs, scientific illustrations, and nature studies.

Nature Prints, which are full-size reproductions of plants, ferns, and fish, provide a captivating framework. We capture impressions of organic specimens by collecting, painting, and pressing them, preserving the resulting images on silkscreens. Our prints on paper begin with multiple screenings of nature prints, with added painted details. I couple these with colored pencil and watercolor illustrations to tell a story or demonstrate nature's interconnectedness. I created a Japanese signature chop that identifies this unique series with the name Helio, meaning Sun in Latin.

Our handmade prints are professionally photographed for our gicleé reproductions. Gicleé (pronounced ghee-clay, French for "to spray") is the highest-quality method of art reproduction available today, produced on archival paper. Prices listed are for reproductions of the print only, available in several sizes.
If the Original piece is still available, it will be listed along with the reproductions.

Although we don't offer free shipping on framed work, if you're willing to pay for shipping or can pick it up in Key West, we may be able to accommodate you.

9x12" print fits a 12x16" mat, 12x16" print fits a 16x20" mat, 13x19" print fits an 18x24" mat, and 16x20" print fits a 20x24" mat. However, all can be custom-matted according to your needs and taste. Note: some pieces are not standard sizes.
