Mango: Tropical Fruit Nature Study

My tropical fruit series of nature studies each feature a print of the leaf along with colored pencil drawings of the flower, fruit, and seed of each tree. A butterfly adds another element of interest to each piece.

Orange-barred Sulphur (Phoebis phileaphilea)  Originally from the West Indies, this butterfly likely flew or was carried by a storm to the states in the early 1900's.
